TXTrep Privacy Policy

TXTrep ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-assisted workout-logging and coaching service delivered over text messaging (SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

• Mobile phone number (in E.164 format)
• Workout logs you submit by text — sets, reps, weight, and RPE (rating of perceived exertion)
• Bodyweight, when you choose to provide it
• Fitness goals and any injury or limitation details you share with the coach
• IP address of the device sending requests to our service
• User agent string of the originating client
• Inbound and outbound message timestamps
• Stripe customer identifier for billing reference (we never receive or store full payment-card data)

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the coaching service — parsing your workouts, tracking progress, and replying with coaching guidance
• To generate AI responses, which are produced by Anthropic Claude operating as our AI subprocessor
• To process payments through Stripe, which acts as our payment subprocessor
• To maintain audit logs required for SMS-carrier and consumer-protection compliance
• To respond to support inquiries and to investigate abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service

SMS / Text Messaging Disclosure

By texting TXTrep, you consent to receive automated text messages about your workouts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.

Message frequency varies based on how often you log workouts and how often the coach proactively checks in. You can opt out of all messages at any time by replying STOP; you can request help by replying HELP.

Information Sharing

We do not share your mobile number or message data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We do share data with the following subprocessors strictly to operate the service:

• Twilio — message routing and delivery across SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS
• Anthropic — AI processing of your messages to generate coaching responses
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
• Supabase — managed Postgres database hosting for your account, workouts, and consent records
• Render — application hosting for the TXTrep service
• Sentry — error monitoring and crash reporting

Each subprocessor is bound by its own privacy and data-protection terms. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Consumer Health Data (Washington MHMDA)

For Washington residents, the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373) creates a private right of action over the handling of "consumer health data." We treat the following information you may share with TXTrep as consumer health data under MHMDA: bodyweight, fitness goals, and any injury, illness, or physical-limitation disclosures.

• Categories collected: bodyweight, fitness goals, injury/limitation disclosures, and the workout-performance data described above when it relates to physical capacity or rehabilitation.
• Purposes: to provide the coaching service to you, to generate personalized AI responses, and to maintain compliance audit logs.
• Sharing: consumer health data is shared only with the subprocessors listed above, and only as needed to operate the service. We do not sell consumer health data and do not share it for advertising.
• Your rights: Washington residents may request access to or deletion of their consumer health data at any time. To request deletion, text the phrase delete my account from your enrolled phone number, or email benstallan1@gmail.com.

Data Retention

• Message logs: retained for 30 days for support purposes, then redacted.
• Consent records: retained indefinitely as required for SMS and TCPA compliance audit trails.
• Account data: deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where retention is required by law or for compliance recordkeeping.

Your Rights

• Access: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of messaging: reply STOP to any TXTrep message to unsubscribe from all SMS communications.
